Daisy is a collection of memories. Moments of growth, moments where you’re beaten down but get back up and all the little moments in between. It’s both an acknowledgement to loved ones and a reflection of loss. Titled after Chris’ family dogs Daisy and Marmite passed during the album’s creation, Daisy is also a love letter to the animals in our lives that remain a rock through each of these moments that guide to who and where we’re meant to be. Jaguar Sun is the solo project of Canadian multi-instrumentalist Chris Minielly. Based originally out of a small town in Southern Ontario, Minielly writes, records, and produces the bulk of Jaguar Sun's music himself — often described as dreamy, nostalgic, and emotionally evocative. Musically, Jaguar Sun blends elements of dream pop, indie-pop, and lo-fi folk, bringing together jangly guitars, hazy synths, layered instrumentation, and soft, wistful vocals.
