Isabelle Olivier & Raphael Olivier - Open Isabelle Olivier & Raphael Olivier

Recognised by audiences and professionals alike as unique performers and composers, Isabelle Olivier and Raphael Olivier form a unique mother-and-son duo

For the past 13 years their musical worlds have intertwined on a sonic journey built around harp and guitar. Born of the pair's travels, encounters and shared moments, Open is an ode to openness - an invitation to open our arms and hearts, to pause for a moment, breathe, and reconnect with what truly matters.

From jazz standards to modern improvisation, with a nod to British pop, the duo invites listeners into a world of curiosity, camaraderie and musical innovation. Their two styles - one melancholic and introspective, the other playful and adventurous - interact throughout the record. Raphael Olivier's intimate vocals feature on two tracks from the album.

A jazz musician and harpist with a strong musical presence, Isabelle Olivier brings innovation to the international scene with an instrument as surprising as it is unique. She has composed, arranged and recorded 13 albums, scored 11 films, and collaborated with artists such as Peter Erskine and Didier Lockwood. A recipient of the Villa Albertine award, she travelled to Washington to create a film-concert tribute to female filmmakers from racial minorities.

Raphael Olivier is a composer, producer, guitarist and songwriter whose catalogue of over 300 tracks has amassed more than 2 billion views and 15 million streams worldwide. Trained between Europe and the US, he studied jazz and film music at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Paris and has toured with Etienne Daho, Yael Naim and the Orchestre National de Jazz.
