HUG - HUG HUG

Frogs, condensed milk, the patter of rain. This is the new collaborative project from Gyan Riley, Devendra Banhart and Noah Georgeson. Three eternal friends becoming children.

This is an (almost) instrumental album, made by three highly regarded artists in their own right, who also happen to have known each other since childhood.

Noah and Gyan both grew up in Nevada City, the Crystal Capital of the United States, ground zero for all things woo-woo. You can kind of hear the influence of their upbringing in their music, but not really. What they're doing here is something else. It's playing. Someone once described this as a guitar trio record, without so many guitars.

They always talked about making an album together. Finally, the moment presented itself. The result is an album that feels like captured lightning.

The release will be supported by a video campaign, press in the U.S. and UK, and select shows in special environments to create experiences for listeners that aren't like regular shows.
