Hildur Guðnadóttir - Saman Hildur Guðnadóttir

Originally released in 2014, Saman takes its name from the Icelandic word for “together” and reflects Hildur Guðnadóttir’s distinctive approach to combining cello and voice. Woven into rich, layered textures, the two become part of a singular musical expression that lies at the heart of the album.

Twenty years after her debut, this chapter of Hildur’s early catalogue is revisited on This Will Be Us, which includes new orchestral versions of “Bær” and “Birting”.
