Remastered Hybrid 2 x SACD
Genre: Classical
Karajan’s account of these two Dvořák symphonies recorded in the late 70s stands as an unashamed celebration of orchestral opulence and expressive warmth. Moving away from traditional rustic readings, Karajan unleashes the Berlin Philharmonic with a breathtaking, cinematic sweep. It is a definitive document of the “Karajan Sound” at its most hedonistic and luxurious.
Fifth release in the series of Herbert von Karajan Hybrid SACDs with a new HD 192/24 remastering from the original tapes.
