GO! is a Hardcore band from New York, born in the late 80's, very active in the scene of the first 90's, the second wave NYHC, contemporaries of bands like Bad Trip, Rorschach, Born Against Supertouch, Lethal Agression, In your face or Citizens Arrest, with whom they used to share stage in venues such as the legendary ABC no Rio. Mike, their singer, edited the fanzine Bullshit Monthly, and was also the first gay to make his sexual status public on the NYHC scene.
In their first stage they released a demo, 7 e.p.'s, and two compilation albums, breaking up in 1991. Between 2006 and 2011 they returned to the fray, released two e.p.'s, and gave some concerts.
This album “Impact” compiles the band's last two EPs, “Reactive” from 2006 and “What we build together” from 2007, 23 studio songs from their last era. In addition, this work includes 16 songs taken from a live performance on the WFMU radio station in 2006, with a great sound!. HARD CORE only.
