"For Black Cab I drew largely on the film's various settings in and around Manchester; its inky, industrial streets and the surrounding Peak District country roads at night

I wanted to create a fusion of corroded analogue electronics and synthesisers with folkloric acoustic recorders and ghostly voices

The result is a woozy, looping horror-scape, pock- marked with bursts of adrenalin and sheer panic

It doesn't really let up at any point until the final piece which pays homage to classic 70s horror scores by Goblin and Morricone, a kind of resolve into the darkness." - Gazelle Twin
