Gabriels - Blood On My Hands EP Gabriels

Gabriels are excited to share brand new music, their first since 2023, and news of a forthcoming EP.

These recordings will be the band’s first since the departure of vocalist Jacob Lusk who left Gabriels in 2024 to focus on other musical endeavours. In his place, this new EP welcomes a handful of guest vocalists who join the extended Gabriels family – Say She She, Qing, and Evita.

The 4-track EP will be released on 20th November and is introduced with Break It featuring Say She She.

Gabriels’ founding members Ari Balouzian and Ryan Hope explain their new line-up and the future shape of the band,

“After an amazing ride together off the back of Angels & Queens, Jacob informed us that he wanted to step out and follow a few different musical paths by himself. We completely understood of course, and wished him well, and so it was back to just the two of us alongside our wider Gabriels family.

Gabriels has, and always will be, a collaborative project centred on making music that moves us. We’re excited to share our next chapter with you. Thanks for sticking with us.”

Since Gabriels concluded touring of their broadly acclaimed debut album Angels & Queens (which helped to deliver the band two BRIT nominations in consecutive years for Best International Act) in 2024, Ari and Ryan have been busy working on music for film - Ari scored the music for Primetime (produced with Ryan), a new A24 film starring Robert Pattinson which recently hit US cinemas following its premier at the Venice International Film Festival.

Ari also scored the music for A24’s You Can See Everything, the much anticipated Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim film on Elizabeth Holmes, which The Guardian describes as, “a masterpiece of deceit”.

Meanwhile, Ryan has spent the last few years DJing, sharing the booth with the likes of Moodymann, Kerri Chandler and Laurent Garnier, with his Glastonbury Block 9 performance making the festival’s own Best of the Best shortlist in 2025.

Now, their attention turns back to Gabriels.
