9-track heavy shoegaze and post-metal LP from Dutch multi-instrumentalist Funus. Since 2006, Dutch multi-instrumentalist Funus has carved a distinct path through the underground with his blend of heavy shoegaze, doom and post-metal.
Dreamless Water is a staggering nine-track descent into absolute shadow, pushing the project's sound into darker and more immersive territory. Rooted in an early-'90s-inspired production, moments of fragile introspection collide with crushing walls of guitar, all wrapped in dense layers of reverb and chorus. The result is a slow-burning wall of sound built for fans of bleak, claustrophobic atmosphere.
