Directed by Romano Scavolini in 1972, "Un Bianco Vestito per Mariale'" features a cast including familiar faces from the Italian thriller genre such as Evelyn Stewart and Ivan Rassimov. The film's score was composed by Fiorenzo Carpi, a prominent figure in Italian film music, and arranged and conducted in his unique style by Bruno Nicolai. Originally released on vinyl by Gemelli in 1975, three years after the movie's premiere, the soundtrack prominently features the Mariale' theme in both piano and orchestral versions, as well as arrangements with Edda Dell'Orso's distinctive vocals and orchestration. It also includes several lounge and tense themes.

Long out of print, this exquisite soundtrack is being reintroduced on vinyl as a limited edition of 500 copies. This release includes the instrumental version of "Mariale'" and an alternative arrangement of "Garden Party," making them available on vinyl for the first time.
