Imagine having a song go viral for 17 years — without even knowing it. That’s
exactly what happened to the German 1980s band FEX. And this isn’t just any song —
it’s The Most Mysterious Song on the Internet, a track that puzzled music detectives
for decades before finally being identified in November 2024. Now, it has been
officially released — twice.

"We are proud to present the SECOND OFFICIAL vinyl release of "Subways Of Your Mind" by FEX. This time it is a REMASTER of the recently discovered original TMMS VERSION. This is the recording that was played at NDR RADIO in the mid 80s, the version of “The Most Mysterious Song” that started it all!

Together with the recently issued DEMO version of “Subways Of Your Mind” (backed with “Heart In Danger”) this is the band's second 7" single. To fit with the previous release we decided to keep the artwork as simple as possible and inverted the colours. These two singles hopefully work together as a nice couple. The new disc will be backed with “Talking Hands”, another in-demand track from the band which was found on the original “yellow tape” demo cassette.
