To celebrate the release of her debut LP 'Time of Fallow', Spindizzy Records welcomes Ellie O'Neill for a very special in-store performance and signing.
In the vein of some of Ireland’s greatest talents: Sinead O’Connor; Dolores O’Riordan, O’Neill is a singer and songwriter of astonishing purity.
O'Neill's music is informed by queer temporality—the theory that queer lives challenge the traditional linear flow of time—which she studied while writing her thesis for her undergraduate English degree. The structures of her songs follow similar nonlinear paths, rejecting typical verse-chorus arrangements in favor of more winding trajectories.
