To celebrate the release of his new album 'KOMOREBI' Spindizzy Records welcomes David Geraghty for a very special in-store performance and signing. 

Composer and multi-instrumentalist David Geraghty is a founding member of Bell X1 and he continues to be a driving force behind the band. Alongside this, he has been carving out his own path for two decades now and on September 18th, he releases his fifth album.

Komorebi (木漏れ日) is a poetic Japanese word that describes sunlight filtering through the canopy of trees. This is an album of hope that reflects on topics such as; estrangement, a humanity drunk at the wheel, the distraction of technology, the tragic life of the world’s first supermodel, a ballad about a Stuntwoman and St. Valentine using Tinder. 

Komorebi plays with a range of different perspectives in what feels like a rapidly changing world.  Whether that is with a wry, “if you don’t laugh, you’ll cry” twist, a melodramatic analogy to a Greek tragedy or finding happiness in settling for a life of pretence.
