This is Partisan Records' black vinyl repress of Cymande's 1974 classic Second Time Round.

Cymande's self-titled debut was the first UK soul album to land on the Billboard Top 200 charts, and Second Time Round placed them back on the US charts. In another first, while touring this album they became the first British band to headline the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem. A documentary film released in 2025 charts the band's unique legacy and story.

One of the most celebrated and influential artists of their era, Cymande have been widely sampled across hip-hop, rock, electronic music and beyond. Second Time Round features the stunning singles Crayshaw, Fug and Genevieve.
