Counting Crows - Recovering Sattelites Counting Crows

This Record Store Day Essential edition of Counting Crows' second album, Recovering the Satellites, was originally released on October 15, 1996, three years after their debut album and following two years of worldwide touring.

Produced by Gil Norton, it features founding members Adam Duritz, David Bryson (guitar), Charlie Gillingham (keyboards), and Matt Malley (bass), along with new additions Ben Mize (drums) and Dan Vickrey (guitar). Multi-instrumentalist and eventual band member David Immerglück also played on the album as a session musician.

Classic songs on the album include "A Long December" and "Angels of the Silences." The album was remastered from the original 1/4" production master tape and is pressed on a strictly limited edition Lava Red vinyl.
