Originally from Co Fermanagh, singer and songwriter Clara Tracey released her debut album Black Forest in October 2022, hugely influenced both lyrically and musically by some of the erotic heroes and heroines of French chanson and literature, from Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin to Anais Nin and Colette.

With Black Forest, Tracey creates an entry into her magical yet realistic world where "women reign, stained glass masterpieces come to life, and fantasies are playfully erotic," it says in the press materials. The long-awaited album is highly acclaimed by critics and well received by fans.
