CENTRAL - Why Can't We Be Friends? [Japanese Import] CENTRAL

Since the release of CENTRAL's first album Flor De Roble in November 2024, the band has continued to release singles consistently and is currently hard at work completing their second album. Now, CENTRAL is set to release a lead single from the upcoming album.

The track is the title song from WAR's 1975 album Why Can't We Be Friends?. Nearly 50 years later, CENTRAL saw its message as something that needs to be shared widely in today's increasingly chaotic world, and covered it with an arrangement generously infused with CENTRAL's exquisite salsa sauce. From the familiar intro that follows the original, the song suddenly pulls listeners into a salsa world, followed by an astonishing second half, resulting in a truly passionate performance.

The B-side features “Flor De Roble”, the sophisticated instrumental title track from their first album. Their original composition captures the hot passion of salsa in an intentionally cool arrangement, creating a sophisticated urban atmosphere.
