Bob Dylan - Bob Dylan (Debut Album) Bob Dylan
180g Crystal Clear Vinyl LP
Bob Dylan's self-titled debut album was produced in a matter of hours and cost just $402 to record, according to producer John Hammond. It serves as an insightful introduction for anyone wanting to explore Dylan's first steps as a professional musician.
Recorded at New York's Columbia Studios on November 20th and 22nd, 1961, Bob Dylan sang topical folk songs, accompanying himself on harmonica and guitar. The album contained just two original compositions by Dylan, "Song to Woody" and "Talkin' New York", the remaining selections covering interpretations of mostly old folk and blues numbers.
Includes the bonus tracks "Mixed-Up Confusion", "Baby, Please Don't Go" (recorded live for WBAI Radio) and "Corrina, Corrina" (the A-side single from Columbia 4-42656).
