Recorded over four days at Montréal's Hotel2Tango studio in December 2018, A Faithful Daughter documents the meeting of Polish experimental duo BNNT and Lebanese-Canadian composer, producer and musician Radwan Ghazi Moumneh. Though completed years before its release, the album arrives with an uncanny sense of timeliness, its slow-moving landscapes of drone, electronics, percussion and voice reflecting a world marked by rupture and uncertain futures.

Across four expansive compositions, BNNT's sculptural approach to sound meets Moumneh's distinctive combination of modular synthesis, buzuk and voice. Rather than building toward dramatic climaxes, the music advances patiently through subtle shifts in texture and density, occupying a space somewhere between experimental rock, electroacoustic composition and contemporary drone.

Accompanied by newly commissioned texts from Montréal writer Olivia Tapiero, A Faithful Daughter is both a long-delayed document and a work that feels remarkably rooted in the present.
