Bioscope is the highly anticipated collaborative project from Steve Rothery (Marillion) and electronic visionary Thorsten Quaeschning (Tangerine Dream).
 
Gentō is named after the Japanese term for “magic lantern” and each of the five instrumental tracks takes its inspiration from man's endearing fascination with the moving image. The pieces weave together Rothery’s emotive, melodic guitar work and Quaeschning’s expansive soundscapes and feature an amazing performance by Elbow’s drummer Alex Reeves. Soaring guitar solos meet hypnotic ‘Berlin School’ sequencer-driven passages.
