Bella Boo has been lighting up the house music world since her breakthrough in 2018, becoming a mainstay of Studio Barnhus with a sound that balances emotional depth and energetic drive through contrasts of light and dark. Built on sturdy grooves and inventive sound design, her music has taken her from Panorama Bar to Printworks. Her debut LP and subsequent EPs earned multiple Swedish Grammy nominations while steadily expanding her global profile.

KURT., meanwhile, is one of Stockholm’s rising stars, crafting an electrifying sound that fuses club music with R&B, pop and soul. Her style is bold, attitude-heavy and laced with provocative vocals that immediately leave their mark.

She appears on opener Shake Down, a chunky, bass-first rhythm loaded with character. Hints of jungle breaks, heat-damaged synths and blasts of gloopy low-end bring an infectious energy before KURT.’s vocal motifs, by turns sultry, whispered and visceral, intensify the heat even further. The Regrette Rien Mix shifts into late-night territory, layering sustained chords beneath a silky vocal performance from KURT. that turns the listener inward.

Bella Boo then takes centre stage alone on Atlas, a deeply vibey cruising house track driven by catchy percussion and lush layered bells. Golden chords and shimmering pads create an expansive, immersive atmosphere as the bassline steadily rolls forward.

Closing track 8Ball quickens the pulse with bumpy kicks and increasingly detuned, wonky synths that inject a futuristic edge into a groove that somehow remains punchy, cuddly and irresistibly feel-good at the same time.
