UHQ-CD - Marking 85 years representing The Finest In Jazz, UM Japan are making available no less than 118 titles selected from Blue Note’s analog "Tone Poet" and "Classic Vinyl" reissue series on UHQ-CD. Remastering by Kevin Gray, these releases reproduce the sound of the original master tapes as faithfully as possible. Each title is presented on 1 UHQ-CD jewel case with obi-strip with original sleeve notes reproduced on the back inlay.

The 1961 album Mosaic marked a pivotal moment in the story of Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers with the arrival of Freddie Hubbard and Cedar Walton and the band’s expansion to a sextet with the addition of Curtis Fuller joining existing members Wayne Shorter and Jymie Merritt to establish a powerful new line-up on this hard bop classic.
