Ann Lewis, who was active across a wide range of genres—from pop to "kayo-rock" (Japanese pop-rock)—celebrates the 55th anniversary of her debut this year. Although more than a decade has passed since she announced her retirement in 2013, her music remains timeless, continuing to be heard and cherished by many. To mark this 55th anniversary, the special vinyl box set "Ann Lewis Emerald Collection: 7-Inch Vinyl Box," supervised by Ann herself, is being released. She chose the name "Emerald" herself, inspired by the tradition of gifting emeralds for a 55th wedding anniversary. Emeralds symbolize "true love," "growth," and "wisdom"—themes that also embody a special message from Ann Lewis as she marks her 55th anniversary—and the product packaging features a unified emerald color scheme.

These releases present her signature songs in new single-record pairings. By combining hit tracks with songs that share strong thematic or musical connections, the collection has become a highly coveted item for fans and music lovers alike. The project’s appeal is further enhanced by the participation of key figures in Japanese pop and rock who have close ties to Ann Lewis—including Ginji Ito, Eiichi Ohtaki, Jun Sato, Kenji Sawada, Mariya Takeuchi, Shinji Nishi (Spectrum), NOBODY (Yukio Aizawa & Toshio Kihara), Norio Maeda, Masataka Matsutoya, Momoe Yamaguchi, Tatsuro Yamashita, Reiko Yukawa, and Minako Yoshida. A major highlight of the collection is the inclusion of a rare 7-inch single featuring a song by Eiichi Ohtaki that was previously available only as a promotional record.
