Aethyrvorous - Akephalic Palingenesis Aethyrvorous

Fifteen years in the making, finally, the debut full-length abomination by Australian black metal abyss-sculptor Aethyrvorous is here on vinyl and CD formats for the first time ever, to remind us all how the possibilities and boundaries of misanthropy and lawless detestation in black metal, are essentially still something that stretches beyond the infinite and unknowable.

Masterminded by a historic member of Impetuous Ritual, “Akephalic Palingenesis” condenses fifteen years of conceptual musical deviations and isolationist hell theorization into fifty minutes of uncontrolled black metal warfare. Extensive song lengths, pervasive compositional abstraction, and an unrestrained urge for complete listener devourment through the weaponization of atmosphere and dissonance, unfurl an utter sonic monstrosity shrouded in absurdity and destruction, materializing one of Australia's greatest extreme metal accomplishments of the decade.
