Naruki Numazawa - Sametara [Japanese Import] Naruki Numazawa

Yamagata-born, Tokyo-based musician Seiki Numazawa is set to release his first new single in approximately three years on 7-inch vinyl.

On this release, he is joined by Takumi Katsuya on bass and ryo takahashi on drums/programming, creating a neo-soul and indie R&B-inspired sound where his soft vocals and delicate keyboards float over supple grooves.

The B-side features a remix by TOSHIKI HAYASHI (%C), who continues to bring a contemporary update to the jazz-influenced hip-hop sensibility that emerged in the wake of Nujabes. Retaining the original's lyrical quality while adding a smoother, mellower rhythmic feel and a pleasant sense of weightlessness, the remix elevates the track into an exquisite rework.

A latest release from Seiki Numazawa marking the beginning of a new chapter, and an essential addition for 7-inch enthusiasts and fans of Japanese indie soul. Limited pressing. Don't miss it.
