Millie Jackson - 21 Of The Best 1971-83 Millie Jackson
CD in a jewel case.
Millie Jackson's top-selling "Best Of" album is now reissued with new artwork and sleeve notes.
21 Of The Best 1971-83 opens with 'A Child Of God (It's Hard To Believe)', a stark ghetto narrative that announced a major new soul voice in 1971. The album features seventeen R&B chart entries, including six pop crossovers like 'It Hurts So Good' and 'My Man, A Sweet Man'.
This CD spans her full run with the Rifkind brothers' Spring label, including a rare Elton John collaboration, before she later moved to Jive.
