The Tear Garden - Tired Eyes Slowly Burning The Tear Garden

Originally released in 1987, Tired Eyes Slowly Burning marked the first fulllength album from The Tear Garden, the collaborative project formed by cEvin Key of Skinny Puppy and Edward Ka-Spel of The Legendary Pink Dots

Far more than a meeting of two influential artists, the album established a distinctive identity of its own, blending industrial electronics, psychedelic ambience and progressive experimentation into an immersive sonic world. Key's intricate synthesizer textures, hypnotic rhythms and inventive studio techniques intertwine with Ka-Spel's unmistakable vocals, creating richly layered compositions that reveal new details with every listen.

Revered as a cult classic, Tired Eyes Slowly Burning established the creative identity that would define The Tear Garden across the decades that followed.
