Levellers - Outside Inside (2026 Repress) Levellers

Originally released as the second Levellers single in 1989, this repress has been remastered by the band's Jon Sevink.

Jeremy Leveller:
"Outside/Inside was our second EP. It’s a collection of songs recorded at different times and places, with different people. But the main body was produced by Phil Vinall, who we wanted cos he’d worked with The Ruts on West One (Shine On Me).

Overall we wanted a grittier, live sound to the record than on our first EP, Carry Me. He agreed, so we set off to record it in Croydon, having just come back from an extended stay in Amsterdam, where we’d pretty much been the house band at The Last Bus Shelter squat bar.

So we recorded it as live as possible thru the night as I recall + what we did is what you hear!”
