Various Artists - A Music Life: Vol I Various Artists
Indies Exclusive Vinyl LP, 300 copies WW
A Music Life: Vol I is a compilation of songs from the Post Present Medium universe. 11 previously unreleased tracks from artists associated with the label and its mind-expanding 25-year history.
The tracks here span PPM’s music life, including Manufactured Nature (Dead Banana Ladies, 2003), a teen-inspired, bedroom “Crust Punk” tune before gears were shifted to form Mika Miko, to Smile Cracks / Same Old Same (Gun Outfit, 2026) a brand new opus from LA’s own beloved Freak Fam.
These are not the only nuggets contained in this compilation; we have unearthed gems from Chronophage, Eric Copeland, The Spatulas, Brontez Purnell and more to give you a well-rounded document of an underground music world that is both cemented and still taking shape.
