It was the first label to chase, find and issue \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe Wicker Man\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e soundtrack, the first to issue the sounds of computer keyboards and even announcements from train buffet cars.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eMovements like “Hauntology” and “Folk Horror” all began thanks to the music issued by Trunk Records. And here we are, 30 years on, and we think it is time for a 30 years anniversary LP.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eUnlike the 25th anniversary double LP, we are not issuing music we have issued before. Instead, here we are issuing music we have not issued before. Some outsider singing from a hippie who lived in Drop City, a flexi disc selling you the Milton Keynes shopping centre and of course some improvised jazz for children’s dance workshops. And more too.
