As bassist \u003cstrong\u003eBrad Davidson\u003c\/strong\u003e and drummer \u003cstrong\u003eBrad Naish\u003c\/strong\u003e hold the same hypnotic rhythm for the entire song, the guitar careens and swoops with such a frantic energy it seems as though it's the only thing keeping Sage alive in the maelstrom of sound.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt's a fitting commentary that the exacting, post-punk legends \u003cstrong\u003eMission of Burma\u003c\/strong\u003e and squalling, noisy thugs \u003cstrong\u003eThe Melvins\u003c\/strong\u003e both saw fit to cover the track.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eJackpot Records have kept to the high standards set by our previous reissues (\u003cem\u003eThe Wipers\u003c\/em\u003e' \u003cem\u003eIs This Real?\u003c\/em\u003e and the self-titled Beauregarde LP), and \u003cem\u003eYouth of America\u003c\/em\u003e is pressed on high-quality vinyl at RTI and packaged in a sturdy, old-fashioned tip-on sleeve.
