Produced by Lee Perry, under the name “\u003cem\u003eWhat is this\u003c\/em\u003e” along with yet another Reggae Boys’ track: “\u003cem\u003eSelassie\u003c\/em\u003e”. Both tracks on the album were credited to \u003cstrong\u003ethe \u003c\/strong\u003eUpsetters without mentioning the Reggae Boys.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch6\u003eA side - BA BA\u003c\/h6\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis cracking super rare boss reggae hit has never been reissued until now.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAlthough the single was clearly credited to \u003cstrong\u003eGlen Adams\u003c\/strong\u003e, it featured on a PAMA album and compilations as a Lee Perry production under the name \u003cem\u003e\" What Is This? \"\u003c\/em\u003e The cool riddim was also used by Lee Perry for the Upsetters' “\u003cem\u003eCold Sweat\u003c\/em\u003e” released in 1969. In our opinion though, the super catchy “\u003cem\u003eBA BA\u003c\/em\u003e with the pioneers' fine vocals is by far the best track. It is a fine and very much in demand boss reggae classic. What a tune!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch6\u003eB-side - Power Cut\u003c\/h6\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003ePower Cut\u003c\/em\u003e was released on the B-side of “\u003cem\u003eBa Ba\u003c\/em\u003e” on the original 1969 gas single. It is a gorgeous organ version of the A-side performed by very talented Glen Adams, a fine instrumental example of the original Jamaican boss reggae at its very best. It has never been reissued since then.
