The band's name is a play on the 1978 Dire Straits song \"Sultans of Swing\", dating from a time when \"it was sacrilege to say anything whatsoever funny or nasty about Dire Straits\".\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFollowing a number of lineup changes, the band came to the attention of the Irish and UK music press, when \"\u003cem\u003eWhere's Me Jumper\u003c\/em\u003e\" was released in January 1992. After several other independently released singles, the band signed to \u003cstrong\u003eEpic Records\u003c\/strong\u003e, through a deal organized by \u003cstrong\u003eRhythm King Records\u003c\/strong\u003e's \u003cstrong\u003eMartin Heath\u003c\/strong\u003e. With Epic, the band released their debut album \u003cem\u003eCasual Sex In The Cineplex\u003c\/em\u003e.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis debut album from 1993 reached the 23rd position in the UK Albums Chart and includes the singles \"\u003cem\u003eWhere's Me Jumper\u003c\/em\u003e\", \"\u003cem\u003eStupid Kid\u003c\/em\u003e\", and \"\u003cem\u003eYou Talk Too Much\u003c\/em\u003e\".
