This is six tracks and thirty minutes of raw and timeless rock’n’roll goodness – channeling howling acid rock riffs, heady psychedelia and proto-metal grit with a loose, jam-driven energy, pulled straight from the late 60s\/70s underground.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eKicking off in 2022 with the release of debut EP \u003cem\u003eLeaves\u003c\/em\u003e, what started as a solo project by frontman \u003cstrong\u003eJude Hastings\u003c\/strong\u003e quickly evolved into a full-blown live show with the additions of \u003cstrong\u003ePiper Rayner\u003c\/strong\u003e on bass and \u003cstrong\u003eJason Bassett\u003c\/strong\u003e on drums. They soon swapped jangly chords and synths for speaker cranking riffs and a thumping rhythm section and in the time since have been busy tearing up stages in Australia non-stop. A live force that’s equally powerful and electrifying in sweat-soaked, divey back-rooms as it is when the band are occasionally dominating massive stages when hand-picked to support heavy-hitters like \u003cstrong\u003eJack White\u003c\/strong\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003eFoo Fighters\u003c\/strong\u003e and \u003cstrong\u003eJet\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFollowing the 2024 double single \u003cem\u003eEvil Eye \/ Harvest\u003c\/em\u003e, \u003cem\u003eSpooky Eyes\u003c\/em\u003e’ debut full-length first landed at the start of 2026 with a limited physical-only release in Australia on Naarm\/Melbourne label Nibson Mother Records (co-ran by O.R.B drummer John Zacharias, with whom Spooky Eyes just wrapped up a recent East Coast Australian tour).
