Jeff and Nick went on to form the \u003cstrong\u003e MC5\u003c\/strong\u003e influenced \u003cstrong\u003eCheetah\u003c\/strong\u003e, while various members disappeared into other bands and musical adventures. Now \u003cstrong\u003eSpitfire\u003c\/strong\u003e are back from the dead - and they're in love.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWith \u003cstrong\u003eSteve Walker\u003c\/strong\u003e back in England for just three days, Jeff and Nick pulled an unfinished \u003cstrong\u003eSpitfire\u003c\/strong\u003e song from the mid-'90s out of the dust. Three decades later, they decided to finish it. \u003cstrong\u003eJustin Welch\u003c\/strong\u003e (\u003cstrong\u003eElastica\u003c\/strong\u003e \/ \u003cstrong\u003eMary Chain\u003c\/strong\u003e) happened to be free for one of those days, so the four got together for a single rehearsal, with \u003cstrong\u003eYe Nun Kate Hodges\u003c\/strong\u003e on bass, before heading straight into North Down Sound's 8-track studio. Two hours later, \"Anatomic Love (Twice)\" was alive.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThen came the chance to record at \u003cstrong\u003eMick Jones\u003c\/strong\u003e' RRPL studio. With Steve back home and Justin unavailable, Ed and Rob \u003cstrong\u003eSMASH\u003c\/strong\u003e stepped in - and a second version emerged.
