Since 2018 they’ve occupied the dank mills of Manchester, heavily inspired by their precursors but determined to carve out their own sound. In early 2025 this four-piece delivered their debut album, a self-financed, self-titled underground masterpiece. Initially a self-pressed vinyl-only release, sold only at shows and via their local record shop, Piccadilly Records, it was released as a CD later in the year to help get their music further afield—a wise decision.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFrom the opening brooding moments of \u003cem\u003eWhere Have You Been Lately?\u003c\/em\u003e, the Manchester quartet explode into a cacophony of shoegaze-infused noise rock on \u003cem\u003eMort Subite\u003c\/em\u003e. From there, things don't even begin to let up as Rude Films slam into the monster that is \u003cem\u003eDeath Hex\u003c\/em\u003e, pummelling walls of sound that perfectly showcase what the band is capable of. That intensity continues with the fuzzed-out, driving \u003cem\u003eReligion\u003c\/em\u003e and the sprawling, frenetic \u003cem\u003eSerenity\u003c\/em\u003e. Elsewhere, \u003cem\u003eBlood On The Tracks\u003c\/em\u003e, \u003cem\u003eWide-Eyed Boy\u003c\/em\u003e and \u003cem\u003eA Lonely Moon\u003c\/em\u003e take a more atmospheric and texturally rich route, while the jangly, anthemic \u003cem\u003eYou're The Image I Can't Forget\u003c\/em\u003e sets its sights on your heart.
