Pink Rhythm lasted between 1984 and 1985 three singles were released including the cult favourites “\u003cem\u003eMelodies of Love\u003c\/em\u003e” \u0026amp; “\u003cem\u003eIndia\u003c\/em\u003e”\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eOver the years John Rocca’s music has been sampled by many including Jamie XX, Empress Of, Brandy, Burial, Todd Terry , Coolio and more. Often credited as one the pioneers of BritFunk,  John’s music is iconic and has been used in TV \u0026amp; Film and the Fashion world for Calvin Klein, Louis Vuitton and more.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eAn 80’s LOVE AFFAIR\u003c\/em\u003e contains six classic Pink Rhythm tracks, four of which have not been available on vinyl since the original single releases in 1985. The tracks were originally produced and recorded at \u003cstrong\u003eMiraval Studios\u003c\/strong\u003e in The South of France (made famous by George Michael with \u003cem\u003eCareless Whisper\u003c\/em\u003e).\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThey were mixed by John in \u003cstrong\u003eRooster Studios\u003c\/strong\u003e London and remastered in 2024 by \u003cstrong\u003eGeoff Pesche\u003c\/strong\u003e at \u003cstrong\u003eAbbey Road\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIt is pure, smooth 80s drum machines, it is synth sounds, saxophones, and keyboards.... it’s retro, but it could also be current.
