It's a record built on the gap between two childhoods. \u003cstrong\u003ePablo Volt\u003c\/strong\u003e (aka \u003cstrong\u003ePope\u003c\/strong\u003e, as producer) grew up in Mendoza, Argentina; \u003cstrong\u003eJordi Geg\u003c\/strong\u003e, aka \u003cstrong\u003eJ.G.G.\u003c\/strong\u003e, in a suburb of Barcelona. What they share is a language and a curiosity about each other's memories and musical roots - the studio is where they embrace their different origins in improvisations.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA ditch from Pablo's childhood becomes “\u003cem\u003eZanj¢n\u003c\/em\u003e”. A mountain Jordi used to roam becomes “\u003cem\u003eEmisora\u003c\/em\u003e”. An ice cream shop, a Sunday market, a football club: small doors into a past the other never lived, but somehow recognises. \u003cem\u003eAquí me quedo\u003c\/em\u003e, “I'm staying here”, is also the name of the Barcelona bar where they toast after a good session.
