Two of the songs from that album, \u003cem\u003eLokumbe\u003c\/em\u003e (titled for the great trumpeter \u003cstrong\u003eHannibal Marvin Peterson\u003c\/strong\u003e) and \u003cem\u003eSun in the East\u003c\/em\u003e, are featured here and make for interesting comparisons with the album versions. The other two tracks are \u003cem\u003eKalaparusha Arha Difda\u003c\/em\u003e (named after the deeply spiritual tenor saxophonist) previously recorded on \u003cstrong\u003eNat Birchall\u003c\/strong\u003e's \u003cem\u003eThe Infinite\u003c\/em\u003e album, and a fiery version of \u003cem\u003eSong to the Divine Mother\u003c\/em\u003e from the \u003cem\u003eInvocations\u003c\/em\u003e album.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe live ambience adds to the vibe of the day and the group are in stellar form as they explore the themes at length.
