Based on music written for the 200 anniversary of the Norsk Teknisk Museum, \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003e\u003cspan\u003eHere Be Monsters\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e mainly focused on stately, slow and epic music with the external calm and the wonderful 1973 hi-fi estethics of a \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003e\u003cspan\u003eDark Side Of A Moon\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e or other albums of that time and ilk, with the usual motorpsychodelic fire just occasionally showing through.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAn exercise in measured, contained emotion, it was a huge contrast to earlier explosive efforts by this line-up of the band, and even shortened to a single disc album, it wasn’t an album that exactly ‘rocked out’, but one that showed a different, more tactile side of the band.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe title track was even deemed a step too far into the fog, and was eventually taken off the album and released on it’s own as a stand alone ‘tour special’ LP. With the title track reinstated and for the first time claiming it’s rightful place in the running order, \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003e\u003cspan\u003eHere Be Monsters\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e the album is finally complete and whole.
