With a DJ career spanning over 45 years, Noel’s contribution to music in general, is immeasurable. He quickly became an integral part of the fabric of Irish Hip Hop culture, via his pirate radio show ‘Looking for the Perfect Beat’, which he named after the MC G.L.O.B.E. penned Hip Hop classic of the same name. Control was also a battle DJ, and one of the first Irish producers to embrace sample technology, with his group ‘Dis Is It’. Following an almost thirty year music hiatus (to raise a family), Control returned to the world of music in 2020, but sadly passed away from a short illness in 2023. While his return to the music industry was short-lived, his genius can be heard throughout ‘The Beat Don’t Stop’.

Resume Recordings is the brainchild of Irish broadcaster and 80s B-boy, Eric Moore (aka) DJ Laz-E. The label was founded in 2020 with the intention of recording with some like-minded pals from back in the day, who (like Eric and Control) had also put the dream of making records on hold. Hence the labels name. No sooner had the name been chosen when the dream grew from just a few pals in a studio, to recording with Hip Hop royalty. Laz-E first hit the airwaves in 1987, playing Hip Hop music on Dublin pirate, Smile FM, and has spent the past fifteen years as a radio presenter with Ireland's National Broadcaster. As a Turntablist, he has shared the stage with the who's who of cool, including Blondie, RUN DMC, Gary Numan, Grandmaster Flash, Public Enemy, Tim Dog, Ice-T, etc...

Jimmy Green (Green Kanine) is a classically trained pianist and multi-instrumentalist whose talents extend to the wheels of steel.
