And 2024 saw \u003cb\u003eLovejoy\u003c\/b\u003e's \u003cb\u003eDick Preece\u003c\/b\u003e's live return too, performing songs acoustically in support of the album.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eMusic legend \u003cb\u003eAlan McGee\u003c\/b\u003e has been a firm supporter of \u003cb\u003eLovejoy\u003c\/b\u003e, also providing sleeve notes for '\u003cb\u003e..And It's Love!\u003c\/b\u003e' (\u003cb\u003eEd Ball\u003c\/b\u003e too). After the album's release, he and \u003cb\u003eDick Preece\u003c\/b\u003e collaborated on the recording of lost \u003cb\u003eBiff Bang Pow!\u003c\/b\u003e song, 'Let There Be Love'. The story goes that, while reviewing material for \u003cb\u003eCherry Red\u003c\/b\u003e's 2022 BBP! retrospective, '\u003cb\u003eA Better Life\u003c\/b\u003e', McGee came across a live recording of the long-forgotten song: \u003ci\u003e\"It's one of the 3 or 4 best songs I ever wrote for \u003c\/i\u003e\u003cb\u003e\u003ci\u003eBiff Bang Pow!\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e\u003ci\u003e We played it a few times live and I can't believe we never recorded it at the time. But things were chaotic and so were we. But we played the song through together, talked about what it needed, swapped ideas and gradually both versions came together.
