As critics enthused at the time, Loop were the sound of Suicide jamming with the Stooges aboard a spaceship built by Hawkwind and piloted by CAN. They were post-psychedelic, pre-shoegaze figureheads in a world of anodyne pop jangle and baggy rhythms, and even their closest contemporaries like Spacemen 3 and My Bloody Valentine didn’t plough such a distinctive furrow as theirs.   \u003cbr\u003e  \u003cbr\u003e“\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003eTwelves\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e” details:\u003cbr\u003eRemastered from the original tapes by \u003cstrong\u003eKevin Metcalf\u003c\/strong\u003e and then  reissued for the first time in 2009 as part of the \u003cem\u003eWORLD IN YOUR EYES\u003c\/em\u003e 3CD set on \u003cstrong\u003eReactor\u003c\/strong\u003e. Now re-mastered for vinyl and re-cut to lacquers by \u003cstrong\u003eShawn Joseph\u003c\/strong\u003e \/ \u003cstrong\u003eOptimum Mastering\u003c\/strong\u003e and issued as \u003cem\u003eTWELVES\u003c\/em\u003e. (ref: the 3 x 7” set SEVENS released 2020)\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eEach side of this 3LP set has one of the 12”s in full,  \u003cem\u003e16 Dreams\u003c\/em\u003e \/ \u003cem\u003eSpinning\u003c\/em\u003e \/ \u003cem\u003eCollision\u003c\/em\u003e \/ \u003cem\u003eBlack Sun\u003c\/em\u003e \/ \u003cem\u003eArc-Lite\u003c\/em\u003e..as well as the promo only LIVE 12”  \u003cem\u003ePrisma Uber Europa\u003c\/em\u003e.  The 12” cover of each LP has the relevant  sleeve on each side to recreate the original sleeve image, and each 12” side will have labels as close to the original designs as possible.  \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eHear Loop expand their sound from the Stooges \/ Velvets \/ garage pyschout  of “\u003cem\u003e16 Dreams\u003c\/em\u003e”, into the “\u003cem\u003eSpinning\u003c\/em\u003e” era and then develop their motorik fuzzed-out nihilistic pummel through the “\u003cem\u003eCollision\u003c\/em\u003e” and “\u003cem\u003eBlack Sun\u003c\/em\u003e” EPs to finish this set with the “\u003cem\u003eArc-Lite\u003c\/em\u003e” side, possibly Loop at their most visceral.   Unable to be pigeon holed  like  most bands of this time, their live shows also wiped the floor with everyone as evidenced on the “\u003cem\u003ePrisma Uber Europa\u003c\/em\u003e” 12”.  \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eNot reissued on vinyl when first remastered,  now its time.  PLAY LOUD \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe 2009 3CD version will also be reissued too…All the band's 12-inches and compilation tracks in chronological order, with some demo tracks along the way, featuring tracks from the very first Loop demo, \"\u003cem\u003e16 Dreams\u003c\/em\u003e\" single, \"\u003cem\u003eSpinning\u003c\/em\u003e\", \"\u003cem\u003eCollision\u003c\/em\u003e\", \"\u003cem\u003eBlack Sun\u003c\/em\u003e\" and \"\u003cem\u003eArclite\u003c\/em\u003e\" as well as the \u003cstrong\u003eNick Drake\u003c\/strong\u003e tribute on \u003cstrong\u003eImaginary\u003c\/strong\u003e, the \u003cstrong\u003eNeil Young\u003c\/strong\u003e tribute \u003cstrong\u003eComp on No. 6 Records\u003c\/strong\u003e, the \"promo\" \u003cem\u003eLive 12\u003c\/em\u003e\", and even the \u003cstrong\u003eGodflesh\u003c\/strong\u003e cover version from their split on \u003cstrong\u003eClawfist\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eLoop reformed in 2013 to headline \/curate one of the last ATP Festivals,  following the great response to the remastered reissues of2008\/2009.
