During numerous sessions in their own Inkiek studio in Unna\/Germany and a residency in Montoriol\/France in 2025, Klangwart have created their new work \u003cem\u003e‘Wildnis’\u003c\/em\u003e (‘wilderness’), inviting \u003cstrong\u003eSébastien Del Grande\u003c\/strong\u003e to add tenor and alto saxophone, drums, marimba and other various percussion instruments to their electronic textures.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCatalan composer and performer \u003cstrong\u003eIvan Chin\u003c\/strong\u003e aka \u003cstrong\u003eIvan Telefunken\u003c\/strong\u003e also participated in the recording sessions by contributing to a Catalan version of Swiss group \u003cstrong\u003eGrauzone\u003c\/strong\u003e’s famous new wave hit \u003cem\u003e‘Eisbär’\u003c\/em\u003e under the title \u003cem\u003e‘Os Polar’\u003c\/em\u003e. \u003cstrong\u003eTimo Reuber\u003c\/strong\u003e’s arrangements, production and mastering gave the album its final touch. Klangwart started their musical expedition into for them unknown territories already in 2014 when they went to Bogota \/Colombia in order to record with protagonists of the local music scene: \u003cstrong\u003eDami n Ponce\u003c\/strong\u003e (drums), \u003cstrong\u003eCésar Quevedo\u003c\/strong\u003e (bass) and \u003cstrong\u003eEblis Alvarez\u003c\/strong\u003e (violoncello), members of \u003cstrong\u003eThe Meridian Brothers\u003c\/strong\u003e, and singers \u003cstrong\u003eJuanita and Valentina Añez Rothmann\u003c\/strong\u003e a.k.a. \u003cstrong\u003eLas Añez\u003c\/strong\u003e.
