On ‘\u003cem\u003eZombie Nation\u003c\/em\u003e’, a track featuring the unmistakable tones of \u003cstrong\u003eMadness\u003c\/strong\u003e legend \u003cstrong\u003eSuggs\u003c\/strong\u003e, a longstanding Kapichi hero, the band spotlight social and political apathy in the face of dark times, and their collective stance against grey Britain and small-island thinking is one that runs throughout the record, in particular ‘\u003cem\u003eCan EU Hear Me?\u003c\/em\u003e’, a three-minute, Brexit-bemoaning blast of spirited punk. Closing track, \u003cem\u003eJimi\u003c\/em\u003e, an acoustic ode to a fallen friend, adds a different flavour, but generally Kid Kapichi are more raised fist than velvet glove.
