With Kinga Głyk and with Nils Landgren, an artist he names as a formative influence, the collaborations are easy and unforced. And in two guest appearances with singers, he shows two entirely different faces, lifting the roof in Max Mutzke’s “\u003cem\u003eWelt Hinter Glas\u003c\/em\u003e”, and finding infinite tenderness in Sarah Connor’s “\u003cem\u003eIch wünsch dir\u003c\/em\u003e”.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThat gift for playing alongside a voice connects him to one of his heroes, David Sanborn, remembered here in the very first sound of the album - a quote from “\u003cem\u003eButterfat\u003c\/em\u003e” opening “\u003cem\u003eEyes of Crystals\u003c\/em\u003e”.
