The first time I heard the demo of \"\u003cem\u003eStarfish\u003c\/em\u003e\" which was to appear on his \u003cem\u003eWaves on Canvas\u003c\/em\u003e album from 2012, my body knew that I wanted to work with him. I didn't have to make the decision. When I heard his arrangement of my song \u003cem\u003eI'll Never Dream Again\u003c\/em\u003e, I knew we had to make an album together. We had a few false starts but commenced recording around February 2019 and completed it in January 2025. We didn't hurry. We worked on it in between other projects and when we felt like it.
