Dropped as part of \u003cstrong data-start=\"64\" data-end=\"75\"\u003eBoomkat\u003c\/strong\u003e's \u003cem data-start=\"78\" data-end=\"97\"\u003eDocumenting Sound\u003c\/em\u003e series, that release was a revelation that went beyond the high-intensity hard-drum bangers dropped via \u003cstrong data-start=\"202\" data-end=\"218\"\u003eLivity Sound\u003c\/strong\u003e, \u003cstrong data-start=\"220\" data-end=\"239\" data-is-only-node=\"\"\u003eNervous Horizon\u003c\/strong\u003e and his own \u003cstrong data-start=\"252\" data-end=\"261\"\u003eSumac\u003c\/strong\u003e label into a more ambient spray of his trademark percussion and serpentine maqam melodies.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"356\" data-end=\"677\"\u003e\u003cem data-start=\"356\" data-end=\"364\"\u003ePlease\u003c\/em\u003e is an even more intimate proposition, with its cover featuring a cropped shot of \u003cstrong data-start=\"446\" data-end=\"456\"\u003eBeeler\u003c\/strong\u003e holding a cup of coffee in one hand, belongings in the other. Phone, keys, pills, Tiger Balm. I do feel vulnerable,” says Beeler, who credits \u003cstrong data-start=\"1032\" data-end=\"1056\"\u003eSmalltown Supersound\u003c\/strong\u003e label boss \u003cstrong data-start=\"1068\" data-end=\"1087\"\u003eJoakim Haugland\u003c\/strong\u003e as vital to realising \u003cem data-start=\"1110\" data-end=\"1118\"\u003ePlease\u003c\/em\u003e. “I doubt that without him pulling them out of the folder those demos would ever have been heard by anyone.” But aren't we lucky he did?\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"1259\" data-end=\"1633\"\u003eThe album's sweltering keyboard improvisations on highlights like \u003cem data-start=\"1325\" data-end=\"1340\"\u003eRight On Time\u003c\/em\u003e, \u003cem data-start=\"1342\" data-end=\"1349\"\u003ePa700\u003c\/em\u003e and \u003cem data-start=\"1354\" data-end=\"1364\"\u003eOpen Era\u003c\/em\u003e, are set to a melt of wavering found sounds and microtonal runs. “Some of the songs are also just me playing the keyboard on top of a loop I've made.
