You Pretty Things\u003c\/em\u003e and the chugging, life-affirming \u003cem\u003eChanges\u003c\/em\u003e, which went on to become one of Bowie's all-time signature songs.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eHunky Dory\u003c\/em\u003e is solid from beginning to end, thanks to the fine musicians, Bowie's excellent songwriting, and the artist's now-mature sense of performance.
