From 1964 until well into the 1970s, she was backed by \u003cstrong\u003eRamón y sus Showmen\u003c\/strong\u003e, with whom she released a handful of singles that followed much the same musical direction as her earlier recordings.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn 1970, probably in a belated attempt to embrace the soul music craze that had also reached Spain by then, they released this single featuring two dancefloor-friendly, fresh-sounding versions of Anglo-American hits: '\u003cem\u003eUn millón de lágrimas\u003c\/em\u003e,' originally a hit for the American rock band \u003cstrong\u003eThe Grass Roots\u003c\/strong\u003e (\u003cem\u003eI'd Wait a Million Years\u003c\/em\u003e), and '\u003cem\u003eNo te creas tú que tan loca estoy\u003c\/em\u003e,' a Spanish adaptation of \u003cstrong\u003eBill Deal \u0026amp; The Rhondels\u003c\/strong\u003e' '\u003cem\u003eWhat Kind of Fool Do You Think I Am\u003c\/em\u003e.'\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe rarity of this record suggests that its sales were, in all likelihood, quite modest, despite also being released in Peru, where the Marfer label tried its luck with several artists.
